| Today is my wedding day...
It's gonna be awesome. | | |
| matthew 5. i love this chapter.. it is the greatest sermon ever. every time i read this, i'm encouraged to live above and beyond the norm and mediocre. not just what the world expects, not just want is required, but going the extra mile and living as someone special.
being back at the bellevue 24 hour fitness, and working on legs reminded me of the time when i was going for 540 lbs on the leg press and almost got my legs crushed, but good thing flex was there to save my life. thanks bro! i owe you one! those were good times.
in addition to my work outs this summer, i've committed to remodeling the house. o boy, it's gonna be a big project!

| Wow it's been 2 months since I updated...
In May, I had a vision, a mission, and a goal. My vision was to be a fitter Reignboy, my mission was to do it through working out and eating healthy, and my goal was to lose 10lbs in the month of May.
I failed. But as the old Chinese saying goes - "Failure is the mother of Success". A champion gets back up, and he learns from his mistakes. I did not have a specific plan to get there. That was the downfall. But it's now a new month, and a new beginning. Reignboy is more determined than ever!
Plan for the next 2 months:
Monday: Legs
Tuesday: Chest and back (tone)
Wednesday: Triceps and shoulders
Thursday: Rest/make up day
Friday: Biceps
Saturday: Chest and back (bulk)
Sunday: Basketball
and 30min Cardio (Treadmill, Elliptical, or TaeBo) each day except Sunday and Monday.
If you would like to encourage me on this 2 month endeavor - please add HUGS on top of this page.
| I’ve been disgraced.
I arm-wrestled Nobu today and he took me down twice in less than 3 seconds. It was a sad sad day...
But a champion never stays down. A champion gets back up. And so, the training begins today, now. Now I have a goal, now I have an enemy, now I have a purpose.
The rematch of the century. 6 months from now: September 23, 2005.
The enemy: Mr. Kikkoman himself.. Nobu!

Profile: Nobu "Mr. Kikkoman" Hiroi Weight: 130lbs of pure muscle Career Highlights: Member of the Soccer Championship Team, Blackbelt in Karate, BoxWave Operations veteran Quote: "I'm buff! Like Hulk Hogan!"

| long time no xanga!
i'm sick and tired... of being sick and tired. sick of allergies. sick of being fat and lazy. sick of being undisciplined and weak. sick of procrastinating and excuses. sick of this:
"I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For what I do is not the good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want to do–this I keep on doing." - Romans 7:18-19
no more.
no more being lazy and skipping working out, and making up an excuse. 5 workouts per week, period
no more skipping my quiet times because i'm too tired, or some other lame excuse for missing my daily time with the creator of the universe. and writing it down on my journal
no more playing video games for more than an hour on weeknights
no more being so wrapped up in my own world that i'm not able to care or minister to others around me
no more staying up past 1:30am on weeknights
no more coarse joking or getting a cheap laugh at the expense of others by putting them down
no more messy room, messy car, late fees on bills
no more sleeping in and coming to work late
i'm a soldier for christ. let's get down to business! i'll need ur prayers!
